June 2010 - Delta Air Lines launches its Hong Kong-Detroit non-stop service, featuring lie-flat beds in its BusinessElite cabin

A Boeing B777-200LR aircraft with 45 BusinessElite seats and 233 Economy Class seats is used on the route.

Last week, the US carrier launched the the Hongkong-Detroit and Beijing-Seattle non-stop services, which connects Hong Kong to 129 destinations from Detroit.
